The NavigatorV™ Desktop Platform is a powerful service from ATP that provides quick and easy access to technical and regulatory publication subscriptions. Installed on your local desktop computer, or using a client-server configuration on your LAN or WAN, the NavigatorV platform brings you powerful search functionality, enhanced content indexing, reliable information currency, and simplified document access and browsing.

Ensures information is current

With the EZ Update feature in the NavigatorV™ desktop platform, publication revisions can be automatically downloaded and installed on a daily basis, or you can set a custom update schedule that meets the needs of your organization. Email notification services let users know when publication revisions are available and when content has been successfully updated. Content updates can also be delivered on discs in the mail, creating a fail-safe revision process. ATP provides simple tools for tracking, auditing and viewing the currency of your library subscriptions.

The NavigatorV destop platform simplifies the daily maintenance of your libraries and ensures that all users are using the most current information. The powerful features of the NavigatorV™ desktop platform help reduce research time and increase productivity.


The powerful search tools in the NavigatorV™ desktop platform let you find critical information across all publications in all of your library subscriptions. You can also refine your search to individual publications or a customized set of publications. Searches can be performed by date, keyword, manufacturer, or model, and researchers can use advanced search parameters including wildcards and boolean expressions. Comprehensive indexing allows you to perform searches using prior manufacturer or model names.

Profile and Compliance

The Profile and Compliance feature in the NavigatorV™ platform records actions taken to ensure compliance with regulations, service bulletins, and other requirements. This tool lets you maintain an ongoing electronic record that is automatically updated with content revisions. You can also generate printable tracking reports for internal record keeping, external auditors, and customer documentation.

Centralizes control of your regulatory and maintenance information across multiple users and multiple facilities

Installing the NavigatorV platform on your Local Area Network (LAN) or Wide Area Network (WAN) provides centralized control over all content to assure that all users have access to the same, current information. Network installations allow IT administrators complete control over access to content. ATP's concurrent licensing model allows you to install the client software on as many desktops as necessary with no additional hardware or software keys required.

  • Operating System: Windows XP (SP2, 32 Bit), Windows Vista (32 Bit), Windows 7 (64 Bit), Windows Server 2003 (SP1, 32 Bit), or Windows Server 2008 (32 or 64 Bit).
  • DVD-ROM Drive: Only required for disc-based users with disc updates and installation.
  • Processor: Pentium 4 or later.
  • System Memory: 1 GB.
  • Available Storage Space: 10 GB (estimated for a medium sized library running EZ Update).
  • Wireless (Optional): Suggested at 802.11g or higher.
  • Additional Software: Internet Explorer 7 or later, Microsoft .NET 3.0 (provided); Adobe Reader; Microsoft Word and Excel required for NavigatorV forms (not included).
