ATP, recently attended the Airline & Aerospace MRO & Operations IT Conference EMEA that took place in Amsterdam, June 7th and 8th. This is the world’s only event that addresses the main issues that airlines, aircraft operators and Independent MROs face relating to the development of IT and its key use for aircraft maintenance and flight operations. We were excited to note how industries worldwide were interested in the new technologies that use big data analytics to drive sophisticated advanced software solutions.
ATP Demonstrates ChronicX at Airline & Aerospace MRO & Operations IT Conference
At the MRO & Flight Operations IT Conference, ATP demonstrated the ChronicX® recurring defect management solution to a number of airlines focused on improving the health of their fleets. The ChronicX solution delivers innovative capabilities to help MOC and Reliability engineers detect and manage recurring defects on aircraft, identifying, consolidating and ranking recurring chronic defects and potential chronics, and highlighting emerging defect trends across aircraft fleets – regardless of the assigned ATA coding.
Sharing The Power of ChronicX Through Customer Usecases
At the Conference, in our conversations with our customers, we were thrilled to see how their MOC/MCC staff are also using the power of ChronicX to service flight decks, and ramp-up technicians quickly and effectively through immediate access to relevant information. In addition to that, they were excited about how the ChronicX solution also provides their maintenance technicians with an intuitive interface to access reports on problems and corrective actions identified on specific tails. This enables them to troubleshoot with ChronicX because they can to focus on defects for specific ATAs, and look at selected defect history over specific date ranges defined by them. Our customers also reported that their maintenance technicians can troubleshoot quickly by exploring corrective actions on other aircrafts that fixed similar problems.

ChronicX intelligent recurring defect management solution identified at one airline 50% more candidate chronics, at another one 26% more. It also decreased delays by 37.5% by reducing the total number of recurring defects, and the average number of events per recurring defect.
Once more, the Conference proved to be an excellent platform, providing exceptional networking opportunities and exchange of ideas between MROs, OEMs, IT vendors, regulators and consultants across the EMEA zone.
