Last week, ATP, exhibited jointly at the NBAA’s Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year, the event celebrated its 70th anniversary and attracted around 27,000 attendees and about 1,100 exhibitors. Approximately 100 aircraft were on static display, both at Henderson Municipal Airport and inside the convention center. NBAA 2017 saw the launch of exciting new products. Highlights included the show debut of the Bombardier Global 7000, which is the largest business jet ever developed, the Gulfstream G600 and Pilatus PC-24. The debut of the Gulfstream G600 and Pilatus PC-24 aircraft have been especially meaningful because both feature ATP’s SpotLight® advanced interactive troubleshooting technology.
ATP’s Spotlight and ChronicX Gain Momentum at NBAA
Gulfstream Aerospace, is using our SpotLight solution on the new G600 and G500 in federation with the Pratt & Whitney Canada PurePower® PW800 turbine engine series. SpotLight technology allows diagnostic information to flow between separate diagnostic databases created by the aircraft and engine OEMs so that technicians can quickly locate, identify and troubleshoot faults. Gulfstream has also deployed SpotLight for the G550 and G650 fleets in non-federated configurations and has been a SpotLight customer for several years.
Pilatus Aircraft features the SpotLight solution on their PC-24 diagnostic database in combination with the Williams F44 engine database. Rick Noble, CEO of ATP, and Markus Bucher, CEO of Pilatus, and their teams, met in the Pilatus booth to discuss and witness SpotLight functioning on a hand-held tablet covering the PC-24 diagnostic database.
ATP was delighted to launch the ChronicX® recurring defect management solution for business charter airlines at the NBAA venue. The ChronicX solution is already widely used by major airlines because it improves the health of their fleets. Now business charter airlines will benefit from ChronicX and will be able to act on operational threats earlier.
Unveiling Advanced Library Connectivity For More Efficient Maintenance
ATP was pleased to unveil at NBAA the new Advanced Library Connectivity to its breakthrough Aircraft Centricity™ Service at NBAA [Watch Video]. Many of our customers stopped by the booth and were very excited to see how the new dashboarding capabilities make accessing mission-critical maintenance and regulatory information easier and faster than ever. Advanced Library Connectivity [Watch Video] accomplishes this by instantly and conveniently curating and organizing content for the user’s specific aircraft profiles within the Aviation Hub™ Cloud Application, including airframe, engine, propeller and components. ATP was also pleased to announce at the tradeshow a new partnership to offer Honeywell and Bendix King Technical Publications through ATP’s Cloud-Based Services.
At the Conference, we were excited to observe an increasing demand for single-source information management tools. OEMs as well as maintenance operations share this common need. Maintenance technicians need to be able to acquire, manage and access maintenance-related data efficiently. This, without an effective information system, is a very time consuming and inefficient process. As one of the visitors to our booth stated, “It is extremely time-consuming and unproductive to have to look at different sources for information from all the manufacturers”. Visitors to our booth were thrilled to see how ATP’s technology could help them increase efficiencies dramatically – ATP’s Aviation Hub™ Cloud and Mobile Applications, a single-source portal for libraries and information services, provide access and information management tools for all the maintenance and regulatory information for an aircraft
