The European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2017), wrapped up two weeks ago, and it was successful on several levels. There was a large turnout with thousands of attendees from nearly 40 countries, more than 400 exhibitors, 56 diverse aircrafts on a static display at the Geneva Airport, and a showcase of helicopters inside the Palexpo. Also, this year’s exhibition included numerous educational sessions – Careers in Business Aviation Day alone attracted more than 250 high school, vocational and university students from 120 schools across Europe.

ATP Team At The European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition

Our Experience at EBACE2017

The ATP exhibit drew the interest of many attendees that were looking for new ways to improve operational efficiency by reducing maintenance costs, increasing aircraft availability and proactive maintenance. The ATP team enjoyed meeting with many European customers and prospects, regulatory associations (such as NBAA and GAMA) and our OEM partners (Pilatus, Gulfstream, Bombardier to name a few) exploring new opportunities for partnerships.

A Brief History Of ATP In Aviation Maintenance

For over 45 years, ATP’s has provided valuable efficiency improvements, regulatory/OEM compliance and safety enhancements through the Maintenance and Regulatory Libraries in the ATP Aviation Hub™ Cloud Application, as well as newer services such as ATP® Maintenance Tracking. ATP has been aggressively evolving not only to improve our products and services but also to build new capabilities and solutions that our customers demand.

Aircraft Centricity™ Services, launched at the EBACE, is the latest example of innovative solutions ATP is bringing to the market. This service offers a breakthrough approach in business aviation to manage maintenance-related content. With a single tail number search, it pulls up and integrates all of the relevant reference content and airworthiness tracking information for all the components of that aircraft. It helps MROs and maintenance professionals access information with unprecedented speed, dramatically boosting productivity while ensuring high levels of safety and compliance.

In late 2016, ATP acquired CaseBank Technologies, Inc. (now ATP Software Solutions), expanding ATP’s business into the aerospace and defence, and the commercial aviation industries. CaseBank’s (now ATP Software Solutions) Spotlight® and ChronicX® solutions also draw the interest of our OEM partners and customers and attracted visitors to our exhibit area.

About ATP Aviation Maintenance Solutions

With Custom Alerting, a new customer-driven innovation in the ChronicX® defect management solution, ATP has raised the bar on assisting maintenance providers with improved management of unplanned maintenance events. It enables the automatic detection and management of chronic and critical defects with unprecedented accuracy, speed and control. Airlines and MROs deploying the ChronicX Solution with Custom Alerting are expected to dramatically minimize Aircraft on Ground (AOG) risk while boosting fleet health and equipment utilization.

The SpotLight® interactive troubleshooting solution guides service technicians and call center personnel through the process of troubleshooting equipment problems and performance issues, while it acquires and leverages the collective experience of field technicians and shares best practices. The SpotLight solution provides a seamless transition from diagnostic to repair. It reduces the frequency and number of AOG events, and reduces maintenance and parts costs.

EBACE proved to be an excellent platform to launch our Aircraft Centricity™ Services. We held several media briefings highlighting this new service that will improve efficiency and provide aircraft availability benefits to our customers. Overall, EBACE 2017 was a success because it continues to create an environment that fosters networking and brings together a wide-range of customers and vendors to discuss real-world challenges and solutions for running efficient operations, and these are the companies that appreciate ATP services.
